3 floors of True Antiques, personally selected and catalogued by Mr. Ralph Hammond. His business is a family business, comprised of two of his daughters, a son-in-law, and several grandchildren. Hammond Antiques has served as a movie set, a story book backdrop, and a place full of thousands of happy memories over the years.
There's an amazing marble collection for the kids (and adults!), comic books, dolls, art, over 3,000 pieces of fine china, and heirloom furniture. There is a world-famous room dedicated to teapots and tea service. You will discover silver, crystal, marble and Tiger Oak, writers’ desks with vintage typewriters. A sea of vintage chairs and dining room tables, sofas and daybeds. You will venture into “The Christmas Corner”, which includes items from other holidays as well. Old tools and fishing gear grace the lower level walls and vintage sewing machines and accessories abound. You can even find some oddities. Hammond Antiques also boasts the area’s largest costume jewelry collection!

Mr. Hammond was born in 1936, but very rarely will you not find him working around each store level, helping customers, or behind his cash register making new friends, catching up with old ones, telling jokes, or finding a dance partner for his favorite tunes! He's the sweetheart of Burnsville and a perfect gentleman with a wealth of knowledge. Come in, and stay awhile! There's plenty to see! Hammond Antiques is Open 7 days a week, and only closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
